About The Author
Rich Wittmeier
Richard Wittmeier is not a writer or a financial expert. He is a farm boy from South Dakota with engineering degrees in Engineering Physics (BS), Engineering (MS) and Nuclear Engineering (MS) from South Dakota State and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The majority of his 40-year career has been with GE where he held multiple positions with increasing responsibility attaining multiple executive level positions.
As he and his wife raised their family in North Carolina, he started to develop a growing concern for the education in this country. This concern grew significantly over the past decade especially with the decline of the United States in the world ranking for education. Writing this book became his answer to help improve education in the USA for the juniors and seniors in high school. Without financial education, how can high school graduates make informed decisions about their future and become an asset to society? Being an engineer, he writes like an engineer, Short and to the Point!
